Earth's most rare and enchanting animal "The White Tiger" was captured in the year 1951 by HH Shri Martand Singhji Rewain the jungles of Govindgarh adjoining to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reservein the erstwhile Central Indian Kingdom of Maharajas Of Rewa now a district of Madhya Pradesh in India.
The white tiger is a recessive gene carrier and according to some the white fur is due to the absence of yellow pigmentation. It is definitely not a case of albinism or that it is a new species. It is scientifically the same as - Panthera tigris tigris
It was when a female bengal tigress was shot from the hide on a tree. The female white tiger was with four cubs, who too walked un to the Shikiris. The cubs were shot dead except one that escaped. The cub had white pigmentation instead of normal orange reddish which is the color of the normal tiger. The Maharaja, had the rare white tiger cub located and caged at Govindgarh fort. The cub was reared in this palace.
When the white tiger called Mohun grew up a normal colored tigress called Begum was mated with him.

The prey does a painless death.
It’s Enemies
Humans are it’s greatest enemy. This is because; they hunt these animals for fur, body parts and the head too. The heads are used as trophies, and wall hangers, whereas the body parts are made into medicine.
